Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. You can make an appointment on your own. You don’t need to be referred by another doctor, though other providers like your primary care doctor or physical therapist can refer you.

  • No, we don’t accept insurance. This helps us focus on giving you better care without the hassle. You pay at your visit, and we’ll give you a receipt. You can try to get reimbursed by your insurance if they cover out-of-network care.

  • We use clear, up-front pricing. A new problem visit is one flat fee. If you need more services, they’ll be added to the total, but we’ll always explain the cost first. You’ll never get a surprise bill or charges here. The balance for services provided are charged on the day of your visit.

  • Visits for new problems are up to 45 minutes. Your visit includes a full exam, ultrasound of the problem area, and a treatment plan. We’ll talk through your options and may suggest things like therapy, coaching, or a referral if needed. The cost does not include treatments.

  • You should bring any past medical records that involve your problem areas including charts and radiology (X-ray or MRI) results. You should also bring a list of your medications.

  • You should wear loose or athletic clothing that allows visibility and examination of the problem area or joint. It should be able to be fully examined. In the event we cannot adequately examine the area we have disposable shorts and tops available to use.
